Fire Deuce is a heavy metal band created by the mighty Cleveland Stever AKA Daddy Deuce.
No one is quite sure where or when Cleveland Stever was born. He is known for his incredible voice, sexiness, and sharp edge wittiness. Through the years Cleveland and the boys were signed to many labels and started production on many albums. Due to numerous disasters the production of every album was always abandoned. In 2005 Stever and the rest of the Deuce got it together and finally released the critically acclaimed EP “Children of the Deuce”. It was praised by critics and fans alike.
For some reason, however, Daddy Deuce quit and went missing only a year after the EPs release. He only gave the explanation that he was “realizing the rest of his band had shitty intentions”. It is speculated that these intentions he speaks of were the decisions each member made to keep their day jobs as Fire Deuce brought them no financial stability. Since 2006 Cleveland and the rest of the Deuce had not been seen or heard from except for a rarities CD titled “Deep Down ‘N’ Dirty” released in 2007.
Everyone figured the Deuce was gone for good. Oh how wrong they were.
In mid 2015 there was a rumor many of the band members reunited to go on a spirit quest deep into the woods. Cleveland did not attend. The rest of the band figured they would go do some white water rafting, drop some liquid acid, and reconnect. It was with the intention that once reconnected they could use their new unified status to excite Cleveland into reformation. Unfortunately they were stalked and captured by a bunch of red neck pervert rapists. Luckily Deuce Freely was carrying his Deuce Signal Mag light. All it took was one flash in the midnight sky and Cleveland and numerous children of the deuce were there in seconds to save them. This made for a reconnection of all band members with Cleveland. This horrible situation that brought them together influenced Cleveland to write the best song in Deuce history “Deliverance”. He got right in the studio and brought Deuce Newton (drums), Deuce Freely (guitar), and J E Deuce (Bass, Guitar, Vocals) in with him to drop the deuce right. In celebration of the reconnection the Deuce decided to remaster and rerelease “Children of the Deuce” on vinyl. And the new song “Deliverance” was added as a bonus track to what was already a masterpiece.
In preparation for the rerelease Fire Deuce has been on tour opening up for the alternative rock band Coheed and Cambria. Cleveland has been quoted in the press as of late saying “Enough people buy this rerelease we may just find our selves in the studio doing a full length.
So BUY that shit!!!
